Ootheca - Parcoblatta virginica

Ootheca - Parcoblatta virginica
Perry County, Pennsylvania, USA
The ootheca was found under a piece of wood, a day after the female was noticed carrying it around.

I very carefully removed it and placed it in moist substrate to help incubation. I am curious to see if anything hatches out of it. It would be very cool if they are in fact able to reproduce without males.
