Eris militaris - female

Eris militaris - Female
Renton, King County, Washington, USA
December 11, 2009
Size: about 1/4 of an inch
My littlest sisters friend found this adult female inside a curled leaf. We took her over to Rod Crawford after having her captive for a few days, as we were curious about her species identity. He confirmed it as Eris militaris and told us a little bit about them. :] We later released her back outside.
