Range: sw US (spp. overlap in TX)

Some confusion over the range overlap - Alex Wild says the most apparent feature that separates this species is their sharper propodeum angle (more vertical compared to decipiens which is a more gradual slope). He also does not believe the species overlap much, since decipiens is common throughout a lot of Hill Country and most of the SE US. sayi is apparently a true western desert species.
