Coxyelios? - Coelioxys

Coxyelios? - Coelioxys
Archbold Biological Station - Lake Placid, Highlands County, Florida, USA
October 11, 2009
Size: 10-12mm roughly
This bee looked pretty similar to Coxyelios sayi. I noticed, though, that my shots of C. sayi seem to have two spikes on their butts. This specimen has at least five. I am not sure if that is a gender difference or species difference or if I just got better butt shots this time . . .

are these all the same individual?
leg color seems to vary

Sigh
Well, I had thought it was one, it was one bushy clump of flowers (quite busy with pollinators) but I thought I kept track of the same bee. I see you are right though. Sorry about that and thank you for catching it. I broke the offending image off, I appear to have other shots of that one as well.

Thanks for the update
This species seems to have darker wings too

Sorta.
The name you were trying to spell is Coelioxys, and it would appear this is a male in that genus.
