Size: 2- 2 1/2 inches
Any help with ID would be great. Granddaughter found it out back...

toe biter
A true bug , family Belostomatidae, Order Hemiptera. Often referred to as toe biters or electric light bugs. They can bite via a pointy "beak." Always a cool and impressive insect to come across.
