Moved from Oribatida.

Moved
Moved from Mites and Ticks. ID'd by B. O'Connor. He suggested another name who is an expert in Oribatida -- so I'll send a message.

ID'd by Roy Norton as Micreremus
According to Roy Norton, this is a "species of the genus Micreremus (Micreremidae). The American species of this genus have not been studied."

I'll leave it to v belov to make the guide page and place it accordingly -- as I don't have a clue where to start!

"where to start"
this master list kindly posted by Charley is extremely helpful in such cases

from Heather Proctor:
"I sent the photo to Val Behan-Pelletier and Roy Norton, the two best oribatologists in North America."

Ooooooooooooh.....LOVE this one.
I've never found one like this. Great eye! ....and of course, GREAT photo.
