Raspberry? gall and larvae - Diastrophus nebulosus

Raspberry? gall and larvae - Diastrophus nebulosus
Horsham trail. Horsham, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, USA
March 20, 2010
Size: 3 mm
Two galls in what I think is a raspberry bush. I can check later if it doesn't seem right.
The galls are about 4 or 4.5 cm long and contain many larvae. I hope that I can get adults.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. The longitudinal furrows in the galls are distinctive for this species.

Looks like ...
Blackberry Knot Gall Wasp (Diastrophus nebulosus)

But I am not an expert ... I am, however, sure that the host plant is blackbaerry ...

I should have known
My friend said "wild raspberry" and I wasn't too convinced, plus I forgot that I have seen blackberries in the summer in that area.
Thanks Charley for confirming the ID. With a little luck I might get the adults.
