Found at the entrance to my garage. Captured, photographed under a loupe, and released. Small, maybe 14mm "diameter" across the legs. I witnessed this spider jumping several times. Very quick movements. The upper part of the palps had an iridescent silver/white coloration.
The shape of the carapace and the eye layout is also consistent with the illustration for jumping spiders as shown in the Golden Guide
(1).
I'm not sure if this is male or female. I didn't notice enlarged palp tips while looking at it through the loupe, but they do look a bit enlarged in the photograph...might be a trick of the focus and perspective.
