Size: ~2 cm long
Lone mayfly alighted on canoe on gravel bar along river; placed in plastic cup for photography. Wings somewhat worn and missing legs.

from Lloyd Gonzales:
"Not Ephemerella. Ephemerellids have detached intercalary veins along the length of the trailing edge of the forewing. The forewing venation and overall appearance suggest that this is probably Leptophlebia. The broken stub of the middle terminal filament also seems to be slightly thinner that the outer 'tails'."
