Apparently...
the specimen was discarded when some other live specimens were released. It was reported that these were easy to find at the location. Good excuse for a field trip! If it's of value, I could set aside any future ich specimens for you.

Perhaps so, but assuming that it is
Arenetra
, they aren't particularly common in collections. That may be because they tend to be active early in the season, prior to the time that most folks get the urge to go collecting or put up their Malaise traps. I also presume that not a lot of ichneumonids have been collected in your part of Utah.
