Size: 8 mm length
Found living in a pool (I guess chlorine doesn't bother it?) and collected for my entomology class.

Interesting how we had 2 submissions of the same species from the same state only a couple of days apart...

I've been collecting beetles
for 25 years; I'd better get the family right :) Just no familiarity with CA's fauna.
