Going to Sacremento, California in about 3 weeks

Been a while BugGuide friends. Well going on a plane for the first time. Anything interesting that I might find there that would not find in Central Florida??

This time of year, not very much.
Maybe snakeflies and some early-season western Bombus like melanopygus and vosnesenskii. Jerusalem crickets lay their eggs around this time of year. I think it's a little too early for the bizarre Apterobittacus apterus, but maybe with global warming you might find one. But just about anything you find here except for the domestic pests won't be found in Central Florida. So look under rocks for ground beetles and tenebrionids, and check wildflowers for native bees. I have to say, the times I've been to Disney World with my family, I was *very* impressed with the bugs you had there.

Thanks, lots of wonderful stu
Thanks, lots of wonderful stuff here. Wish I had more time, of late school and kids have consumed more than I think a Pac-man could eat... Very rarely do I travel anywhere so hoping for anything that I would not find here.
