A bit worn. It was found beneath a lighted wall, rather stunned and I almost stepped on it. This was the only individual I have found in two years (2003-04) of intensive moth-watching.
(And am still looking for another as of 2017!)

Virginia Rosy Maple Moth - How gorgeous!
The image I submitted is so colorful compared to the images that I have seen of them on the internet. Most images look as if the wings are dried and old.
