This appears to be Philonthus
This appears to be Philonthus lomatus, found in a variety of habitats. This and the species close to it are sometimes very tricky to separate even under a microscope (and even after dissection! :/ ). Luckily, lomatus is the largest and broadest of them, and is the best fit.
