Pine Lady Beetle - Brumus quadripustulatus

Pine Lady Beetle - Brumus quadripustulatus
Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, California, USA
March 24, 2010
I am pretty sure of the ID. I had posted one of these in July of 2009. From the guide page this species was introduced intentionally in San Francisco.

Yes, B. quadripustulatus
Nice lady! Textbook pattern on this one, with those comma-shaped humeral spots. The species used to be E_xochomus quadripustulatus, I think this may be the first one submitted to BG since I created the Brumus node.
