All
Zygoballus specimens collected by the author (jb) have been found in short, broad-leaved vegetation less than 1ft. from the ground.
Z. rufipes and
nervosus are often sympatric, and have been taken from clearings within mature woods. I only know
Z. sexpunctatus from old field, but other BugGuide records (
Gloster Arboretum) imply similar wooded habitat for that species as well.
