I'm an ant enthusiast and I found this worker crawling on my window sill in my den. I'm hoping someone can help me with the identification. This may be of no consequence, but I do have a few Prenolepis imparis (false honey ant) queens getting ready to lay eggs, and this ant was in the vicinity.

Camponotus subbarbatus - minor worker
I can only second Ken's comment: the specimen on this pic would win to be enlarged at least twice, even if a bit blurry.

You'll improve your chances for an ID
if you crop your photo as close to the ant as possible. Only you and the editors can see the full-size image. Everyone else is limited to the smaller version, which doesn't provide much detail.

Welcome to BugGuide!

I cropped this image.
Hope this helps :)
