This species is quite common on the Canyon live oaks Quercus chrysolepis here in the spring and early summer.

...these are the first posts of T. chumash on the guide.

The oak host, San Gabriel Mnts locale, and most unequivocally...the shape and size of the "teeth" on the male cerci, together with the twist in the intra-dextral process (barely discernible here)...all indicate clearly that this is species chumash. Nice find and shots.
