Based on the distributions given in S.W. Bulllington's key, I assume this is L. astur and it keys out to this species; the black hairs on the scutellum are just visible in this photo. Can someone confirm?

Laphria sackeni -- because of the entirely black-haired thoracic pleural region.

Many thanks, Eric. I assume the black pleural hairs trumps the yellow-versus black tibial hairs mentioned in the Bullington key. This species would appear to be a Batesian mimic of Bombus vosnesenskii.
