Size: Approx. 25 mm
Could this be a Pyractomena larva? It looks very similar to Image #95431 in Bugguide. Thanks for any help.

Lampyrid, almost certainly.
Pyractomena? There's a definite resemblance, but I think one of the experts will need to make that call, if it can be made. Stand by, and keep your fingers crossed. :)
