Not an ID, but
it resembles Baeus



However, I'm not an expert, and there are probably other, similar genera (maybe even in different families).

Let's wait and see what the hymenoptera specialists have to say.

Definitely.
I saw plenty of these in pitfall trap samples from Massachusetts. Very distinctive. Great call, Ken.
