Size: 4-5mm in length
I think these classify as beetles. These were on one out of every four or five fleabane flowers. Generally it was a pair but sometimes there would only be one. I did not see any of them obviously mating though. I do have a couple of other shots if an important diagnostic feature is not visible.

Mordella marginata looks like a strong candidate based on the images. I will move it to genus pending further ID, especially since there is no record (in the guide) for it in FL yet.
