Darkling Beetle - Blapstinus fortis

Darkling Beetle - Blapstinus fortis
Ozark Mountains, Searcy County, Arkansas, USA
April 3, 2010
Size: 5/16"
Found in garden bed soil.

Moved tentatively, but feel pretty good about this call
much to my surprise, no AR records for this common sp. in(1), although the adjacent MO & LA are both there
but that checklist has tons of good state records missing anyway

Moved from Blapstinus.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Tenebrionidae
looks like a Blapstinus sp., maybe Opatrinus.
