A butterfly, not a moth.
Looks a lot like Falcate Orangetip (Anthocharis midea):



But I'm not a lepidoptera expert, so please wait for a second opinion.

thanks for your help in the ID suggestion. also, thanks for your help in undoing the link. i didn't know i was linking my pics together. i'm brand new to this site, so i will need to figure out the correct way to post pics here. i do know how i did it wrong, i i've got that down. lol
