White-faced Meadowhawk - Sympetrum obtrusum
Georgian Bay, Muskoka, Ontario, Canada
Date unknown, sometime during July-August 2009.

Moved from ID Request.

I second that ID...
The face does indeed seem bright white, although not much of it is visible. Still, I think it would be safe to post this under White-faced Meadowhawk (Sympetrum obtrusum)

Male Meadowhawk
I can't tell you which Sympetrum species it is for sure, but possibly White-faced Meadowhawk (Sympetrum obtrusum).
