After reading the descriptions about the two species I still have a doubt between Papilio glaucus and Papilio appalachiensis, anyone who could help please?

It looks like a spring form male of P. glaucus. These early individuals are often smaller with the dark markings somewhat less bold.

I think...
...it is probably Papilio glaucus (Eastern Tiger Swallowtail), but I am not an expert.

butterfliesandmoths.org doesn't list Papilio appalachiensis for your county and shows it documented in only three others in TN.
