Trechus apicalis
based on my microscopic examination of two such specimens from same collection event and so exact photo-vouchering is not reliable. Thanks Tom.

Moved from Ground Beetles.
Thanks Peter. I'll try to get the specimens in the mail in the next few days.

Not Bembidion
palps are not right; not sure what genus, though. I can dig around if someone else doesn't get to it first.

Carabid
Let's see if =v= or Peter gets this identified before I send the specimen out to Peter M.

Trechini : Trechus
based on Bembidion-like habitus but terminal palpomeres elongated (not attenuated) and presence of recurved sutural stria at apex of each elytron. Tom, thanks in advance for my further study of specimen.

thanks Peter
I was leaning towards Trechus, but a little gun-shy to say :)
