Adult steel gray; larva reddish brown
Range
Common in the European continent.
Food
Fruit trees such as plums and peaches.
Life Cycle
Overwinter as hibernacula under bark. In spring they bore into new stems. (1)
Remarks
Probably introduced in the 1880s. A pest of fruit trees, especially peach.
