Calligrapha apicalis Notman
Hi! This beautiful species of Calligrapha is an alder specialist described by Notman under the name of Calligrapha apicalis. The name is after the anterior angles of pronotum being lighter in colour. Both pictures show well this feature. As a curiosity, this species is one of the few known in Calligrapha which reproduces by parthenogenesis, i.e. only females are known.

Calligrapha apicalis
Hi, thanks for IDing my beetle picture back in November 2010. I think I have come across this beetle species again last Sunday at my home. I have submitted my picture under "Calligrapha" and I would be pleased if you could confirm the species of beetle in this picture for me too! Thank you!
