Bark Beetle - Aulonium parallelopipedum

Bark Beetle - Aulonium parallelopipedum
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
April 12, 2010
Size: 8mm (5/16")
With mite hitchhiker.

Moved from ID Request.

Looks to be Aulonium parallelopipedum, but I don't know how far west that species is found.

I'm at a loss!! lol
The antennae say 'Cucujoidea' but at 8mm too big for anything it resembles (Cerylonidae, etc). I am interested to know, though!
