ne. US (CT-PA) & CA. Recorded from e. US in 1909, first reported for CA based on this BG photo; specimens subsequently found in collections confirm its presence in CA since 1975(1)
Food
hosts: hawthorn (Crataegus) and other Rosaceae(1)
Remarks
the only adventive NA sp. of the genus(2); apparently not a serious pest(1)
