This wasp was hunting for a meal on our japanese plum tree. ID help appreciated.

Pompilid.
Male Priocnemis minorata. Note serrated hind tibia, blunt tip to abdomen. The date alone leaves little doubt, as these are usually the first pompilids to emerge in the spring.
