Tuftlegged Orbweaver - Mangora placida

Tuftlegged Orbweaver - Mangora placida
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
April 14, 2010
Size: 1-2mm
Initially, I was perplexed over a spider-looking insect, until I realized it was a double amputee. Its handicap aside, any ideas about this hairy-legged creature? Thanks

Moved to Mangora placida
Moved from Spiders. This is our best guess based on leg spines, eye arrangement and visible pattern.

spiny legged spider
Do you have more images? Something showing the full dorsal pattern? At this point with those spiny legs & that carapace I'd guess it might be something like Mangora.

lynx?
lynx?

Possible male Pirate Spider?
Odd pattern though.
