7 spp. in our area(1), >30 total

Range

holarctic(2), in our area, western (BC-CA to SK-IA)(1)

although the BG photos are from the southwest, most specimens examined by Gill(3) were from farther north

Remarks

Most species can only be identified by dissecting males.
