Size: ruler is in millimetres,
This larva was found in a stump, feeding above the ground. It got very excited with the encounter and frassed away several times...

Melolonthinae?
Dominique Collet has narrowed this larva down possibly to the Melolonthinae.
Meanwhile I've discovered that this larva is very similar, however it wasn't feeding on rotten wood...
PS: it is now thought to belong to the Subfamily Cetoniinae, Trichinniae tribe.
