Moved from Edrotini.

Auchmobius sp.
A nice find and excellent pictures! It's hard to tell from the lateral perspective, but this dorsal shot shows that the elytra "embrace the sides of the body" (i.e. the sides bulge so you can't see the anterior 2/3 of the epipleural fold in dorsal view). This, along with the lack of fin-like expansions at the ends of the protibiae, rules out Metoponium.

Moved from Darkling Beetles.

possible second Metoponium
large, complicated genus.

Metoponium has its foretibia
Metoponium has its foretibia distinctly expanded apically. This one doesn't have that so it is one of the other Edrotiines.
