Running Crab Spider - Philodromus floridensis

Running Crab Spider - Philodromus floridensis
Mobile (Dog River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
April 19, 2010
This little spider waits for unsuspecting prey by hiding out in a folded holly leaf.

Moved
Moved from Philodromus.

Moved
Alabama is just about the last state in the Union to represent this genus :) BTW I've found total of 5 under folded new holly leaves.

Moved from Spiders.

Looks to be in the genus
Philodromus, and a mighty pretty one!

I'll second that. -K
