How about a crop of the anterior half of each fly (one image each), so I can see more detail on the legs and head. Might be enough...

Excellent Tom! Definitely a L
Excellent Tom! Definitely a Lestomyia sp.; first record of the genus from Texas I believe. Unusual in that it lacks obvious red bands on the legs.
