Beetle in Arizona - Lytta magister

Size: about 3 cm
Quite a while it seemed the beetle was biting/cleaning his own right front leg. It felt undisturbed by being watched so closely.

This is a blister beetle, Lytta sp. It looks very similar to L. magister.
