Boring Insect - Anthrenus verbasci

Size: 2.2 mm
This insect is dwelling with the drugstore beetle. It is about the same size in length, But wider, The mandibles appears to be sharp mouth parts. The insect also appears to have scales. The image was taken on a toothpick.

This beetle Came in a Bag of Bird food also Filled with Boring Drugstore insects. Why would they be together if they are both eating different things. The Only Common thread I can find is (Death Watch)

I guess I don’t understand why this insect would travel with the drugstore beetle.

Do they except the same habitat?
