Coleoptera - Prionus imbricornis - male

Coleoptera - Prionus imbricornis - Male
Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

Tile-horned Prionus
Looks like species Prionus imbricornis. The family is Cerambycidae. See here.

Doug Yanega: "prob. imbricornis ♂ , outside chance of debilis"
"looks to me more like a debilis in certain respects (generally - though not always - the "lobes" on the antennae of male debilis are more pronounced than those of imbricornis), but that species is unknown in Tennessee -- Chattanooga, in particular, is quite far removed from the nearest confirmed locality. That doesn't mean it's impossible for it to be debilis, just that I wouldn't consider it likely."
