Phyllonorycter restrictella - Phyllonorycter maestingella

Phyllonorycter restrictella - Phyllonorycter maestingella
Pelham, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
I collected two beech leaves containing Phyllonorycter mines in October, and I found this moth in the bag on April 16. My ID is based on the host plant (using the HOSTS database); I have been unable to find any photos of this species to compare.

A note from Terry Harrison, 4/27/2010 (to me and Bob Patterson): "I agree that the Phyllonorycter that Charley reared from beech is P. restrictella. I finally was able to have a look at Braun's original description of that species, and it appears to agree with Charley's moth. It is too bad that Braun did her "Lithocolletis" revision so early (1908), because quite a number of species of North American lithocolletines were described subsequently to that, and for many (probably most) of them, there are no reference illustrations published anywhere."

or Phyllonorycter maestingella (Müller, 1764)?
See Landry et al. (2013) (1), p. 19. I'm adding this tentatively as restrictella to MPG with notes unless you think I should hold off.
