Unknown Fly - Chrysopilus quadratus

Size: Close to 3/4 inch
Not sure what this fly is doing either. Was sitting up like this. After downloading, I noticed what looks like a white larvae behind the fly but saw no eggs. At first I thought it might be a "deer fly" but not sure now.
