Giant Leopard Moth - Hypercompe scribonia - female

Giant Leopard Moth - Hypercompe scribonia - Female
Babylon, Suffolk County, New York, USA
April 26, 2010
Might this be Hypercompe scribonia (Giant Leopard Moth - Hodges#8146)? like this one:

The tan coloring in my photo is due to poor lighting and is really white.
This moth was very lethargic after just laying many eggs. I hope someone will know what the preferred food plant is to put in with the eggs.
It looked like her forewings had not fully expanded. Found in a house.
