nice pics! BTW, was your D. talpinus found with your O. noveboracense? I found the two together recently (along with O.inaequale and Aleochara sp) on a dead opossum in GA.

 
Yes
Both were found on a very deceased Red-tailed Hawk--The D. talpinus was noticed after the carcass was moved across the river to the adjacent county. I wasn't sure which county to put it in.
