Size: 30mm
I finally have gotten some better shots, This morning this one was sitting on a ginger leaf, drying off, it sat still long enough for me to get pics, and measure it. Measured tip of eyes to tip of abdomen-30mm, w/wings- 40mm.

Mallophora bomboides
This is M. bomboides, not M. orcina. M. bomboides has tergites 1-3 yellow, T4-5 black, and then T6-8 yellow again. M. orcina has T1-4/5 yellow and T5-8 black. Plus, M. bomboides is much bigger than M. orcina (according to Cole and Pritchard, M. bomboides is 23-30 mm long, M. orcina is 15-20 mm long).

Great shot, though. The wet dog look is priceless.

Is Mallophora orcina. Moving.
