Simple Wave Moth - Scopula

Simple Wave Moth - Scopula
In Westwood by porch light; elevation 5100ft, Lassen County, California, USA
June 20, 2007
Size: About 31mm wide as posed
A fairly common moth in Westwood. Some specimens are more whitish with smaller black specks.

Moved from Simple Wave.

Scopula junctaria does not have discal dots. Moving to genus until closer review.

Thank you Maury...
... for noticing this misplaced moth. I did not send this specimen to the folks at BOLD; but now I think perhaps it is another Scopula quinquelinearia (1). (?)
