4649 - Norape virgo
Black-legged shaggy Norapes from S. Texas to Columbia are N. virgo. This one has puzzled me for several years and I finally raised the question of proper ID with Richard Brown at Miss. Ent. Mus. Doing so helped to sort out specimens in the collection there. Norape ovina is a more eastern species. Knudson and Bordelon show only N. virgo for the Rio Grande Valley.
