I saw this insect sitting on a native mallow plant near the harbor. Any ideas?

Alydidae
A nymph of one of the broad headed bugs. I don't know which, but pretty sure it's in that genus.

 
A closer look?
I noticed in my photo colection that I have an adult plant bug Closterocoris amoenus from the same location. When I looked it up, I think the nymphs looked like this one.
