Identification
B. testaceus and rufescens are inverted in D. & A., and Campbell (1993) (2) should be the work relied on

Separated from other Mycetoporini by:

- Apex of meso and meta-tibia with spines forming a straight row (also present in Ischnosoma) rather than uneven in other genera
- Elytra with more or less 6 irregular row of discal punctures (1 in Ischnosoma)
- Maxillary palpus with apical segment conical and almost as wide as precedent (less than 1/2 precedent in Ischnosoma)
